WHAT TO BRING:
Bible & Pen(Click here if you need a bible)
Bedding & Towel (sheets / sleeping bag / blanket)
Pillow
Pool Towel
Sunscreen
Drawstring Bag (for carrying clothes, towels, or other items to and from activities)
Personal hygiene items
Water Bottle (students will be responsible for their own water during activities/ hydration stations are located throughout the property/ Fill up each morning)

CLOTHING INFO:
SUN: Appropriate and comfortable worship attire
We will be worshiping together before we leave. Students will have the opportunity to change once we arrive at camp.
MON: Appropriate and comfortable attire for being outside. Tennis shoes for walking. A hat.
TUE: Clothes to get dirty and wet. Closed toe shoes. Follow dress code for swimsuit.
WED: Appropriate and comfortable attire for being outside.
THUR: Comfortable travel attire
Activity DAY: Clothes to get dirty and wet. Closed toe shoes. Follow dress code for swimsuit.
Extra Money:
Spending money for snacks, souvenirs, and merch - Prices per item range from $5 - $40.

Wear casual clothes that are suitable for the warmer southern climate, as well as suitable clothing for a young leader. Also, please make sure and check the weather before you come to Getaway as the temperature can vary greatly depending on the season. Also, in case you are the type of person who likes specifics, here are a few guidelines on the dress code:
T-shirts are OK as long as there are no questionable slogans (this will be determined by the Getaway leadership during the week of Getaway).
Appropriate length shorts (fingertip length and must be longer than your t-shirt) - very important for The Island.
One piece bathing suits or modest Tankinis are acceptable.
